Companionship Focus

Our volunteers provide meaningful conversations, ensuring seniors feel valued and connected while learning technology.

Teens Who Tech has made a big difference at our Brookdale community. For the past year and a half, the kids have shown up ready to help our residents with technology – they are kind, polite, smart, and great at making connections. They have helped our residents with everything from dealing with fraud to fixing printers to organizing files. They take the time to not only solve problems, but really connect and listen to our residents as they talk about their own grandchildren, their time in high school, or just talk about their day. Our residents adore the kids and most of them are repeat users, saving up questions for their next session. We are grateful to them and excited that they will be spreading Teens Who Tech to other senior communities.”

For somebody in their 80’s, keeping up with what Apple is doing is hard, but the Teens Who Tech team knows the current tech, and I really appreciate it.
